Ed and Growers Agriculture Insurance
Ed Hamilton Rosales grew up in Ranger, Texas, where land, weather, and work shape every decision, and as the son of a farrier, he learned early what it meant to depend on seasons, soil, and a strong back, spending his youth in the saddle and his adulthood studying the systems that keep rural America running.
First at Texas A&M, where he studied Agribusiness. Then at SUNY Upstate Medical Center, where he shifted into public health with a focus on rural food systems and community well-being.
Between ranch life, agricultural economics, and years of hands-on food security work, Ed saw a pattern: Farmers were working harder than ever. But the insurance companies weren’t keeping up.
